Planned Parenthood on the Hot Seat

Accusations of abuses by Planned Parenthood led some states to cut off funding to the abortion behemoth.

Now, pro-lifers are hoping a Congressional investigation of how Planned Parenthood uses taxpayer dollars might eventually lead to an end to federal funding, as well. The U.S. House voted to stop funding groups like Planned Parenthood last spring, but the pro-abortion Senate and President Obama refused to agree.

National Right to Life has long spoken truth to the power of Planned Parenthood: how they are the nation's largest performer of abortions; how they take hundreds of millions of our tax dollars every year; how they've built a business empire based on abortion; and advocated for everything from partial-birth abortion to the abortion drug RU 486.

We are pleased the U.S. House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations is going to look into Planned Parenthood’s abortion operation. Please keep the investigators in your prayers, as subcommittee chair Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.) has already been the subject of a vicious verbal attack by Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards.

And please support National Right to Life as we continue to expose the truth about Planned Parenthood and how it markets its deadly "services" and kills unborn children.

You will always get the first . . . and best . . . source of news from National Right to Life. As candidates for President hit the ground in early primary states, citizens are looking to see where the candidates stand on abortion and other life issues.

National Right to Life has compiled information about every one of the major candidates who are running to replace pro-abortion Barack Obama in 2012. You can view our candidate comparison here.
